Just days after successfully defending his UFC light heavyweight championship against Daniel Cormier at UFC 182, Jon Jones has entered a drug treatment facility after testing positive for benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite in cocaine) in a random drug test issued by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) on December 4th - almost exactly one month prior to Jones' January 3rd fight against Cormier.

2014 was a huge year for UFC women's bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey. As well as making her big screen debut in blockbuster action hit The Expendables 3, the former Olympic judoka earned two knockout wins over Sara McMann (UFC 170) and Alexis Davis (UFC 175) - the latter of which coming in just 16 seconds.

The figures have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) for fighter earnings from this past weekend's UFC 182 event and, unsurprisingly, it's victorious light heavyweight champ Jon Jones who tops the list with a salary of $500K. His opponent Daniel Cormier, who he defeated via unanimous decision in the main event, took home $90K in the first loss of his pro MMA career.

There was much to talk about following this past weekend's UFC 182 event, which featured one of the biggest title fights in MMA history in the main event between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier.

UFC lightweight contender Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone will step inside the Octagon just two weeks after defeating top-ten fighter Myles Jury at UFC 182 this past weekend as he replaces a sick Eddie Alvarez to take on Benson Henderson in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston, Massachusetts. UFC president announced the fight via Twitter yesterday.

Irish UFC featherweight and World MMA Awards 'International Fighter of the Year' nominee Conor McGregor is next set to take on Dennis Siver in the main event at UFC Fight Night 59 on January 18th. In the lead-up to his next fight, the UFC visits with McGregor at his family home in Dublin and follows him through training.
