Mark Godbeer will look to defend his heavyweight belt against Ruben Wolf at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on November 14th 2015.
Following the success of BAMMA 22, the promotion are making their return to the Barclaycard Arena and they're bringing some heavy hitting talent along with them as Mark Godbeer will make his first heavyweight title defense against fellow striker Ruben Wolf in a fight that is being billed as 'UK vs. Germany'.
Godbeer, who became the promotion's first champion when he won the strap when he finished Paul Taylor via TKO in June, is undefeated during his three fights for BAMMA, finishing each opponent via KO/TKO within two rounds. Another impressive victory in the BAMMA cage wiLl further cement him as one of Europe's best heavyweight mixed martial artists.Â
"I'm really looking forward to fighting Ruben at BAMMA 23. The UK's best vs. Germany's best. It really is one for the fans. There's no way he's taking my belt. This is my house and that's where it's staying. UK vs. Germany, lets do it!" said Godbeer.
His opponent, Ruben 'The Viking' Wolf, is currently on a four-fight win streak, most recently defeating highly touted British heavyweight James Mulheron via TKO in February at Made 4 The Cage 16.Â
"Finally the fight that not only I wanted, but everyone wants to see is happening. There is nothing that can stop me now from winning and becoming the best heavyweight in Europe. Godbeer's fans better be prepared to go home disappointed on November 14th" said Wolf.
The impressive card will also see two more titles on the line as 135lb champ Ed Arthur takes on Shay Walsh in his first defense, and flyweight titleholder Rany Saadeh faces hometown hero Chris Miah for the 125lb belt.
