This weekend sees the latest big-time UFC event, with two championships on the line at the top of the fight card at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi.
In the main event, reigning light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz puts his 205-pound title on the line against Brazilian veteran and former title challenger Glover Teixeira, while the co-main event features a battle for the vacant interim bantamweight title as Russia’s former undisputed champ Petr Yan takes on American contender Cory Sandhagen.
Ahead of the event, the UFC’s “Embedded” cameras are following the fighters behind the scenes as they work their way through fight week, from their arrival in Abu Dhabi to their media obligations before the weigh-ins and the final faceoffs before fight night itself.
In Episode 5, Glover Teixeira celebrates his 42nd birthday, and even receives a gift from his opponent ahead of fight night. Meanwhile, Cory Sandhagen works up a sweat in the sauna before the fighters face off in front of the fans at the pre-fight press conference.
