UFC 273 may have two title fights at the top of the card, but the welterweight contender battle between Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev has captured the imagination of fight fans ahead of the April 9 event in Jacksonville.
Chimaev has blasted his way through the opposition since arriving in the UFC, but is yet to face off against truly elite competition. That will all change at UFC 273 when he faces Burns, an elite grappler with heavy hands who briefly had reigning champion Kamaru Usman in trouble on the feet before “The Nigerian Nightmare” eventually prevailed in their title tussle at UFC 258.
Ahead of the matchup, former UFC welterweight title challenger and globally respected fight analyst Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy dives into the X’s and O’s of the matchup as he breaks down the matchup in “The War Room.”
