The main event of UFC 273 sees the all-conquering undisputed featherweight champion of the world face off against another dangerous challenger as Alexander Volkanovski puts his title on the line against the man known as “The Korean Zombie,” Chan Sung Jung.
Volkanovski has been as solid as a rock since arriving in the UFC as he has overcome each and every opponent he has faced en route to the UFC featherweight title, and his skill, composure and sheer out and out toughness has ensured that the title has remained firmly around his waist.
But against Jung he faces a fighter with incredible self-belief and the ability to end a fight in a multitude of ways. The first man in UFC history to win a fight with a twister submission, “The Korean Zombie’s” ability to knock out his opponents is every bit as lethal as his submission game.
It all adds up to a fascinating featherweight title clash, which takes place on Saturday, April 9 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
