The UFC has officially announced the lineup for UFC 276, with a pair of top-drawer title fights at the sharp end of the bout list.
Headlining the July 2 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is a middleweight title fight between reigning 185-pound champion Israel Adesanya and No. 2-ranked contender Jared Cannonier, while the co-main event features the eagerly-anticipated third meeting between UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and former champ Max Holloway.
The fight card will also feature rising Brazilian middleweight prospect – and Adesanya’s former kickboxing nemesis – Alex Pereira, who takes on 185-pound contender Sean Strickland, and Miesha Tate’s comeback continues against former flyweight title challenger Lauren Murphy.
Rising bantamweight star Sean O’Malley gets a bump up in competition against the heavy-handed Pedro Munhoz, while former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler also gets another run-out against the gritty Bryan Barberena.
The event forms the showpiece of the UFC’s 2022 International Fight Week festivities, with a host of fan events planned throughout the week, from Monday June 27 to Sunday July 3.
