The latest video to drop on UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski’s YouTube channel takes us behind the scenes of one of his greatest triumphs.
Volkanovski delivered one of his best ever performances to dominate Max Holloway and retain his 145-pound title at UFC 276 in Las Vegas as he served up a virtuoso display in the co-main event at T-Mobile Arena.
Throughout fight night, the cameras were rolling as Volkanovski’s team followed him behind the scenes as he prepared for the big fight, which was one of the star attractions of UFC International Fight Week in Sin City.
In the video, we join “Volk” as he gets his hands wrapped in the locker room, with fellow UFC champ Israel Adesanya looking on. We then witness the Aussie champion’s warm-up as he gets loose ahead of his walk to the octagon.
After he gets his hand raised in victory to claim a 3-0 trilogy series sweep over Holloway, we follow him backstage as he goes through the immediate aftermath of the bout, which also saw him sustain a broken thumb.
