One of the UFC’s biggest rising stars takes on seasoned opposition in a fascinating co-main event clash at UFC 282.
Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett is one of the biggest stars to emerge from the United Kingdom, and the former Cage Warriors featherweight champion is making plenty of noise since joining the UFC’s lightweight division.
Three fights have brought three wins, all finished inside the distance, as Pimblett dispatched Luigi Vendramini, Kazula Vargas, and Jordan Leavitt in fine fashion. But his larger-than-life personality hasn’t been to everyone’s taste, and while many fans have gravitated to the meteoric rise of “Paddy the Baddy,” there are also some who are eagerly awaiting his downfall.
At UFC 282, Pimblett will take on seasoned UFC veteran Jared Gordon, who poses the sternest test of his UFC career to date. Gordon has shared the Octagon with the likes of Charles Oliveira, Diego Ferreira and Leonardo Santos, as well as Pimblett’s teammate Chris Fishgold.
Now he’s looking to halt the Pimblett hype train in Las Vegas. Pimblett, meanwhile, plans on putting on a show in the entertainment capital of the world.
Ahead of fight night, the UFC’s Countdown cameras went behind the scenes with both fighters for a feature preview, which you can check out via the video below.
