The Brave CF bantamweight title will be on the line at in Bogota, Colombia, as Jose Torres and Nkosi Ndebele face off for the 135-pound crown.
Both men arrive in Bogota in stellar form. Torres is undefeated under the Brave CF banner with three wins and one draw to his name, while Ndebele has been with Brave CF from his professional debut, and has a 6-1 record inside the Brave CF cage.
Ahead of fight night on August 12, both men have shared their early views before fight week kicks off in earnest in South America.
“I’m not here to win, I’m here to dominate,” said a determined Torres, who initially arrived in Brave CF as a flyweight before moving up to bantamweight.
“This is a time where I need to let my ego show that I was a two-time world champ at IMMAF, that I should have won this belt years ago. At a different weight class, I will show that I am one of the best in the world, and I’m going to do that.
“I can’t be nice and merciful. I can be nice at interviews – I can do this peacefully. But, once I get in there, it’s 100 percent business. It’s a very rough business and I’ll show that.”
Ndebele was equally confident, as he predicted that his “era” is about to arrive at the top of the bantamweight division.
“I’m very, very excited,” he enthused.
“As much as people say he’s done this, I’m putting that all away. Right now is my time and my era has begun.
“No one is going to stop me, and no one is going to stand in my way. So, if it has to happen that we fight each other, we’re going to fight each other.
“He’s a cool guy from what I’ve seen, but, this is the future that will become the present.”
Brave CF 73 takes place on August 12, at the Coliseo El Salitre, in Bogota, Colombia.
