Two of the most well-rounded, technical welterweights in the UFC go head to head in the main event of UFC Vegas 78, as the UFC Apex plays host to the latest UFC Fight Night event.
The matchup sees 10th-ranked Luque looking to get back to winning ways after suffering back-to-back defeats to Belal Muhammad and Geoff Neal, while former lightweight champion dos Anjos, who isn’t listed in the welterweight top 15, arrives in Vegas looking to claim his third win in his last four outings following victories over Renato Moicano and Bryan Barberena.
Both men like to push the pace, both are cage technicians with good striking, solid submission skills and bags of experience. Luque is the younger man with less wear on his tires, but dos Anjos is in better form of late. Which man holds the edge?
