The vacant LFA welterweight title was up for grabs in the main event of LFA 166 as two Brazilian contenders battled all the way to the scorecards in Sao Paulo.

Geraldo Neto and Magnus Conrado fought it out for the vacant 170-pound title at Ginasio do Polvilho, with Neto taking the unanimous decision, and the belt, with scores of 49-45, 49-45, 49-43.

The co-main event also called the judges into the equation, as Jose Delano handed Fabricio Soares only the second defeat of his career with a shutout decision victory in their featherweight matchup.

The main card saw two stoppages, with Fernando Laurenco needing just over two minutes to finish Joao Pedro Saldanha with a rear-naked choke, while Richard Martins finished Joao Paulo Silva with strikes in just 96 seconds of their welterweight matchup.
