Anderson Silva spent some time with Rafael Cordeiro at his Kings MMA facility in California recently as he prepared for this weekend’s fight with Chris Weidman.
Cordeiro was his coach at Chute Boxe before the team imploded and all its top names, including Cordeiro, left for pastures new.
The two have had a long relationship and while it has had its ups and downs – Anderson once lay in wait for him with a shotgun – the two have a great understanding of each other and a deep shared history.
