Bellator 298 weigh-ins: Storley and Ward make weight for welterweight contender clash in Sioux Falls

Bellator action returns to our screens tonight from Sioux Falls, where a bumper fight card is set to serve up 17 bouts from the Sanford Pentagon.

Ahead of fight night, all 34 fighters took to the scale to make their respective bouts official, with just one fighter failing to make their contracted weight for the event in South Dakota.

That fighter was Diana Avsaragova, who came in 1.2 pounds over the 126-pound non-title flyweight limit for her bout with Justine Kish. The bout will go ahead as a catchweight matchup.

The remainder of the fight card all weighed in with no dramas, including main event stars Logan Storley and Brennan Ward, who stepped on the scale at 170.6 and 171 pounds, respectively, for their welterweight non-title headliner.

The event will also feature a battle of heavyweight contenders as former interim champ Valentin Moldavsky (233.8) will concede a significant height and weight advantage to opponent Steve Mowry (254.2) in their co-main event matchup.

Middleweight contenders collide on the main card, as Dalton Rosta and Aaron Jeffery go head to head, while Irish star and former bantamweight contender James Gallagher (144.8) moves up to featherweight to take on James Gonzalez (146) in a 145-pound matchup.
