Brave Combat Federation is set to return to Central Asia for a co-promoted show in Kazakhstan with local promotion Octagon League, with a host of Kazakh stars set to feature on the card.
Brave CF 62 takes place on September 30 in Almaty, Kazakhstan with an event that also includes fights that form the event Octagon League 35.
Those fights are set to be announced in due course, but four big bouts have already been confirmed for the event, with 2020 Brave CF fighter of the year Rolando Dy among them.
Dy will take on Kazakh star Olzhas Eskaraev in a lightweight bout that is expected to form the show’s co-main event, while another Kazakh fighter, Nurzhan Akishev, will face Memhosh Raza.
Akishev claimed one of the promotion’s standout comeback victories in his last appearance at Brave CF 59, and he’ll look to continue that momentum when he takes on Pakistan’s Raza.
More Kazakhstani representation on the card includes Ilyar Askhanov and Alisher Gabdulin, who face off against Omar Solomanov and Bair Shtepin at featherweight and bantamweight, respectively.
The Askhanov vs. Solomanov bout pits Kazakhstan against Ukraine in a battle that could propel the winner into a fight for the vacant 145-pound title.
A press release from the promotion stated that “Brave CF 62 will put Kazakhstan in a select list of nations that have hosted three or more Brave CF shows, in an exclusive club headed by Bahrain, and also featuring Brazil, UAE, Sweden, Romania, and India.
