Chael Sonnen and his long-time girlfriend Brittany Smith got married at the weekend in a surprise wedding.
The low-key ceremony comes less than two months before Sonnen faces Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua at UFC on FOX Sports 1.
Brittany Sonnen – as she now is – recently detailed how Chael got her number when they first met by asking to borrow her phone then slyly calling himself, so that he would have her number on his missed calls list.
At first she resisted but eventually she was won over and she now describes the light-heavyweight as her “best friend”.
