Controversial SBG Ireland prospect Dillon Danis announced the date for his second professional MMA bout.
The BJJ standout will be taking on Max Humphreys at Bellator 221 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on 11th May.
Danis announced the news on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show for ESPN.
A teammate of Conor McGregor, Danis will compete in the cage after serving his retroactive seven-month suspension for the part he played in the post-UFC 229 cage-side brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov and his entourage following McGregor’s loss to the Dagestani grappler.
Danis was also fined $7,500 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his indiscretions.
In his MMA debut, Danis snatched a toe hold submission victory over Kyle Walker almost a year ago at Bellator 198.
Humphreys has posted a 3-2 record in his MMA career so far, but is coming off a first-round TKO defeat inside just 16 seconds.
