A former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, Pimblett has fought at lightweight since losing his title to compatriot Nad Narimani at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship 82 in 2017.
The Liverpudlian fought his way to a lightweight title shot with the UK-based promotion, dropping a decision to top European 155-pounder Soren Bak.
However, “The Baddy” will be entering the UFC roster on a two-fight win streak, having knocked out Decky Dalton and submitted Davide Martinez a year apart.
With a penchant for a spectacular submission, Pimblett has a 16-3 record. 12 of those 16 wins have come by finish en route to the UFC.
