CM Punk’s two minutes and 14 seconds of Octagon time in his MMA and UFC debut this past weekend was pretty lucrative. Per the Ohio State Athletic Commission, Punk netted a disclosed flat pay packet of $500,000 for losing to Mickey Gall via rear naked choke. He wouldn’t even have made any extra if he’d won. That pales in comparison to the $30,000 (which includes a $15,000 win bonus) his opponent received. Some fighters were quick to take to social media and weigh in on the news
