UFC heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou might be unbeaten in five UFC fights and seemingly on the brink of challenging for the greatest prize in MMA – UFC heavyweight gold – but that doesn’t mean he’s resting on his laurels, nor taking things for granted.

The 6’4 Cameroonian today announced, via social media, that he’s relocating to Las Vegas in the hope of furthering his development as a mixed martial artist.

The 30-year-old had previously been based in Paris France, from where he has established himself as one of the world’s must-watch heavyweights. His last fight in January ended in him knocking out veteran Andrei Arlovski inside the very first round, a result which delivered him a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus, and fans can’t wait to hear when he’ll next be appearing in the Octagon. With news of his move to Sin City, they surely won’t have much longer to wait.

In the meantime, check out Editor Michael Owens’ fascinating interview with Ngannou from the April 2017 issue of Fighters Only magazine.
