The latest event from Polish promotion KSW delivered another packed night of fights that finished with a winner that sent the Nowy Sacz crowd home happy.
The main event saw local hero Robert Ruchala extend his undefeated record to 8-0 with a split-decision victory over former UFC veteran Damian Stasiak.
Changes to travel regulations in the Schengen Zone in Europe forced the cancellation of the original main event bout, a light heavyweight title bout between champion Ibragim Chuzhigaev and Ivan Erslan.
It meant the fight card was subjected to an 11th-hour reshuffle, with 24-year-old featherweight Ruchala taking on former UFC fighter Stasiak in the new headliner.
And it was Ruchala who ran out the victor after three well-contested rounds to continue his undefeated streak, which includes five straight wins in the KSW cage.

The co-main event also served up a split decision, as former UFC heavyweight Daniel Omielanczuk edged past Czech fighter Michal Martinek.
One judge scored all three rounds to Martinek, but was overruled by the other two judges, who both awarded the fight to 40-year-old Omielanczuk with scores of 29-28.
The result stunned the KSW international commentary team, who all thought the result was a foregone conclusion for Martinek as they awaited the verdict.
And KSW co-owner Maciej Kawulski reacted to the result with a tweet the morning after the event, stating, “Michal Martinek, I just want you to know that you won the fight yesterday and that none of us here in Poland is stupid or dishonest but sometimes just helpless.”

The moment of the night came earlier on the main card, as Brazil’s Luis Henrique da Silva produced a show-stopping knockout to finish former light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun.
Da Silva connected with a thumping front kick to the chin just 28 seconds into the second round to finish the former champion and leave the arena in Nowy Sacz stunned.
