Czech-Slovak promotion Oktagon MMA is ready to kick off its biggest-ever year with a 16-man welterweight tournament set to take center stage.
The one-million-Euro Tipsport Gamechanger tournament will feature 16 welterweight fighters, who will compete in a single elimination tournament throughout the year.
Eight established Oktagon fighters will be handed each of the eight seeded spots, with a further eight athletes set to be matched against them in the opening round of the tournament.
Oktagon officials have confirmed to Fighters Only all 16 fighters for the tournament, including clarification of which fighters will be seeded for the competition.
