One of the bloodiest battles in KSW history is getting a second chapter, as former middleweight champion Michal Materla and TUF 3 winner Kendall Grove get set to face off again at KSW 78.
The pair will go head to head in a rematch at the Netto Arena in Szczecin, Poland, on Saturday, January 21, with the duo ready to reprise their grueling war from their first meeting at KSW 23.
That bout took place almost a decade ago, but their clash in Gdansk, Poland produced one of the best championship bouts in KSW history as then-middleweight champion Materla defeated Grove via unanimous decision over four five-minute rounds to retain his title at the Ergo Arena in June 2013.
Now the pair are set to do battle again in a 195-pound catchweight main event bout at KSW 78. There is no title on the line this time, but pride and bragging rights are up for grabs in the rematch.
Also confirmed is a middleweight co-main event between Tomasz Romanowski and undefeated Radoslaw Paczuski.
