After the UFC’s latest big pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, there was much to discuss as the fighters met with the media at the UFC 276 post-fight press conference.
In the main event, Israel Adesanya defeated Jared Cannonier via dominant unanimous decision to set up a potential title clash with his former kickboxing rival, Alex Pereira, who claimed a stunning knockout win of his own earlier in the night.
The co-main event saw a masterclass from defending featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, who comprehensively outpointed former champion Max Holloway to earn a shutout win on all three scorecards, and finish his featherweight title trilogy with the Hawaiian with a 3-0 scoreline.
The aforementioned Pereira enjoyed his biggest win in the UFC to date, as he demolished No. 4-ranked middleweight contender Sean Strickland inside one round with a devastating display of striking. There was also a thrilling victory for welterweight Bryan Barberena, who claimed the scalp of former UFC champ Robbie Lawler in the event’s Fight of the Night.
