The co-main event of UFC 277 features a battle for the vacant interim flyweight title, with two rival 125-pounders set to face off for a second time with the added incentive of a championship belt on the line.
Former champion Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France last faced off at UFC 245 in a bout that saw the Mexican claim the victory on the scorecards. But since that loss, Kara-France has gone on a tear, winning four of his last five, and heads into Saturday night’s co-main event on a three-fight win streak.
Moreno, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back after losing the undisputed flyweight title to Deiveson Figueiredo in January. With the new champ ruled out injured, Moreno has to content himself with an interim title bout, and plans to defeat Kara-France and cement a champion vs. champion rematch with the Brazilian upon his return.
Ahead of fight night, check out the pre-fight film previewing Moreno’s rematch with Kara-France.
