The UFC’s next pay-per-view spectacular sees the octagon head to Dallas for UFC 277 with a championship double-bill at the top of the card in Texas.
Topping the card is a rematch for the UFC women’s bantamweight title, as former two-division champion Amanda Nunes looks to recapture the 135-pound title from the woman who took it from her in her last appearance, newly-crowned champ Julianna Pena. Will Nunes return to the top of the bantamweight division, or will lightning strike twice with Nunes claiming back-to-back victories over “The Lioness?”
The co-main event will crown a new interim flyweight champion, with former undisputed champ Brandon Moreno set to face surging Kiwi contender Kai Kara-France in a rematch of their non-title clash back at UFC 245. Moreno won a decision in that bout, but can he repeat the feat and reclaim UFC gold once again?
Ahead of the event, the UFC’s “Embedded” cameras are following the fighters behind the scenes as they work their way through fight week, from their final moments at home to their arrival in Dallas and their media obligations before the weigh-ins and the final faceoffs before fight night itself.
As described on the UFC’s official YouTube channel, on Episode 5, “Champion Julianna Pena embraces the spotlight. Brandon Moreno admires his mini-me. Alex Perez takes inspiration from a teammate. Derrick Lewis stays positive. Athletes talk 277 and face off at the press conference.”
