The UFC is back in Abu Dhabi for UFC 280, with an absolutely stacked card of fights set to entertain the fans at the Etihad Arena on Saturday night.
The main event features a battle for the undisputed lightweight title, as former champion Charles Oliveira takes on top contender Islam Makhachev, while bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling puts the 135-pound title on the line in the co-main event, as he takes on former champion T.J. Dillashaw.
There’s also a spectacular bantamweight contender bout as former champion Petr Yan takes on rising star Sean O’Malley.
Ahead of the event, the UFC’s “Embedded” cameras are following the fighters behind the scenes as they work their way through fight week, from their final moments at home to their arrival in Abu Dhabi and their media obligations before the weigh-ins and the final faceoffs before fight night itself.
As described on the UFC’s official YouTube channel, on Episode 1, “Charles Oliveira likes his odds against Islam Makhachev, who plans to start a championship legacy. Aljamain Sterling trains with fellow champ Leon Edwards. Sean O’Malley sticks to basics. Petr Yan plans his path back to the title.”
