The two championship bouts at the top of the fight card at UFC 284 were officially rubber-stamped after all four of the fighters involved made championship weight in Perth.
Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is moving up to lightweight to challenge for the lightweight title in the main event, and the Australian made weight with half a pound to spare, tipping the scale at 154.5 pounds.
Defending lightweight champ Islam Makhachev was tighter at the weight, and needed to disrobe and step on the scale behind a weigh-in screen to hit the 155-pound championship limit.
The co-main event also features championship action, with the interim featherweight title up for grabs. Dueling contenders Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett will face off for the vacant strap, and both men weighed in on the featherweight championship limit of 145 pounds.
The fighters on the remainder of the card successfully made weight, bar two athletes. Kleydson Rodrigues came in one pound over the flyweight non-title limit, with the Brazilian weighing 127 pounds for his bout with Shannon Ross, while Zubaira Tukhugov stepped on the scale 2.5 pounds over the lightweight limit for his bout with Elves Brenner.
