On what should have been a night of celebration for Jorge Masvidal and his stock as a future UFC welterweight title contender, things took a turn for the worse after his stunning knockout of Darren Till.
As Masvidal was giving an interview to ESPN+ following his victory, Leon Edwards – the victor of the co-main event – appeared to arrive on the scene.
Edwards called out the victor of the fight between Till and Masvidal before its result, and Masvidal seems to have taken umbrage at the Birmingham fighter’s series of callouts.
Masvidal cut his interview short to confront Edwards, before throwing punches in his direction.
Thankfully, the fight was broken up before it could properly escalate.
